The Networks of Change II (NoC2) campaigners participated in an extensive media training in Erbil. Through sessions in graphic design, video editing, journalism, and public speaking, they developed essential communication skills to enhance their campaign messaging. Led by industry professionals, the training empowered participants to create impactful content, engage audiences effectively, and improve their employability. With these new skills, the 21 campaigners are now better equipped to amplify their voices and drive positive change within their communities.

In February 2025, campaigners from the Work for Work campaign part of the Networks of Change II programme, led a series of impactful events across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, equipping young people with essential career skills and opportunities. From CV-writing workshops in Chamchamal to an internship fair in Halabja and a career symposium in Ranya, these initiatives connected youth with employers, and opened discussions on shaping their professional futures. Organised in partnership with the Civil Development Organisation (CDO), the events reinforced the importance of youth engagement in job readiness and long-term career development.
The Networks of Change Two programme is proud to launch its second campaign, “Work for Work” in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). To create innovative spaces for youth, the NOC2 programme has established three Youth Hubs in Ranya, Halabja, and Chamchamal in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NLMFA). In partnership with the Sparda Organisation, these hubs offer vocational training, collaboration, and idea exchange for young people. Their primary goal is to empower 1,000 youth through capacity-building sessions, equipping them with skills for personal and professional growth.
