SPARK Supports First National Entrepreneurship Summit in Sulaimanyah

The Sulaimanyah National Entrepreneurship (SNE) Summit brought together hundreds of young innovators, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders on November 22-23, 2025, marking a significant milestone for youth empowerment in Iraq.

Organized by the Supreme Council of Youth of Iraq under the supervision of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the two-day summit created a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of Iraq’s young generation. The event attracted diverse participants including government representatives, private sector companies, NGOs, and startups.

Exploring careers and creativity: Ranya holds vibrant youth festival

Youth festival in Ranya, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, brought joy and a spirit of possibility to the city. Organised by SPARK in partnership with CDO, the festival was a vibrant celebration of young people’s talents and a platform to promote the “Maro, Chaki Ka” campaign, which encourages youth to stay away from illegal migration and pursue fulfilling vocational careers. Over 2,000 enthusiastic participants explored diverse vocational opportunities through interactive booths, workshops, and cultural performances.

Chamchamal hosts its first-ever job fair

Chamchamal hosted its first job fair ever as part of SPARK’s “Work for Work” campaign, implemented in partnership with CDO and funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Held at the Anfal Monument, the event brought together over 1,600 young people and 22 companies, creating new opportunities for employment, connection, and collaboration in a region where access to jobs remains limited.
