Equipping Educators, Inspiring Change
Through this Programme, educators receive the tools and training to guide and support youth in becoming critical thinkers and active citizens. By fostering inclusive dialogue and equipping teachers with knowledge on social resilience, we strengthen communities and promote a culture of learning and opportunity.

Our Programmes
The Educators Pillar of the NoC programme empowers teachers, school staff, and parents to play a proactive role in preventing youth radicalisation. Through targeted training, referral tools, and safe spaces, we’re creating environments where young people feel supported, heard, and understood. By addressing early signs of vulnerability and promoting constructive dialogue, we aim to foster inclusive classrooms and stronger, more resilient communities, where education becomes a force for peace.
Training the Frontline: Empowering Educators
Educators are the first line of defence in preventing radicalisation. Through NoC, over 500 teachers across Rania, Halabja, and Chamchamal have been trained to detect early warning signs and guide at-risk youth toward positive alternatives. With specialised workshops on emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and referral systems, teachers are now better equipped to create safer, more inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.

Safe Spaces for Open Dialogue
Creating safe, supportive environments is essential for youth to express themselves freely. As part of the Educators Pillar, nine Safe Spaces and three Centers of Excellence are being established in schools and universities. These spaces provide psychological and social support, helping students explore their identity, manage emotions, and resolve conflicts without fear or judgment, strengthening resilience and trust across entire communities.
Transforming Lives Through Early Intervention
Real change begins when someone listens. From educators identifying at-risk behaviour to students discovering non-violent solutions, NoC’s referral system is already making a tangible impact. Educators have successfully helped students transition from radical to moderate perspectives, improving academic performance and peer relationships. With structured support and guidance, these small shifts are creating a ripple effect toward a more stable, peaceful future.
