Empowering Youth to Lead: “Work for Work” Campaigners Complete ToT Training

From 27th to 30th July, fifteen campaigners from the “Work for Work” initiative participated in an intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) training. The training was delivered by international expert Brandon Oeles, founder of the Media Development Collective (MDC), and focused on equipping participants with the tools needed to transfer their knowledge to peers in their communities.

Held as part of the Networks of Change II programme, the ToT aimed to strengthen the sustainability and local ownership of the campaign by enabling campaigners to continue advocacy efforts across the cities of Ranya, Chamchamal, and Halabja.

This initiative is implemented by SPARK and funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. By investing in the capacity of youth leaders, the programme continues to build a foundation for community-led solutions and long-term sustainable change.
