Empowering Youth Through Practical Opportunities: NOC II Internship Program Takes Shape
Over the past three days, the Networks of Change II (NOC II) team successfully conducted an intensive orientation workshop, bringing together Peer Employment Liaisons to plan and design an impactful initiative targeting youth in Halabja, Ranya, and Chamchamal.
The workshop focused on developing a structured and practical internship program aimed at addressing one of the key challenges faced by young people today, the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience. Through collaborative sessions, participants worked on shaping strategies to connect youth with private sector opportunities, ensuring that learning extends beyond theory into meaningful, hands-on practice.
This upcoming program will provide youth with access to paid internship opportunities, enabling them to apply their skills in real working environments, gain valuable experience, and enhance their employability.
This initiative marks an important step toward empowering young people and strengthening their pathways into the workforce.
Stay tuned for more information on how to apply and benefit from this exciting opportunity.
